2015 Volvo V60 Polestar Review

Most people think of Volvos as practical, reliable, and safe family vehicles at about the level of a Buick (oh wait, almost anything is better than a Buick) or an Acura (so say Honda, because there's no major differences except for bodywork and price). But what most people don't know is that some Volvos can be quite fast and exciting. Take the C30 T5 R-Design for example, with it's impressive 227 hp and aggressive styling. But the fastest Volvo in production right now is the V60 Polestar, an even faster version of the already fast T6 model. And being a wagon, it is impressive for any type of car, not just a wagon. Even though production is limited to 120 units, it still does 0-60 in 4.7 seconds, which matches a Land Rover Range Rover Supercharged. If 345 hp and 369 lb-feet of torque isn't enough for you, you need to realize that the Mitsubishi Mirage has only 94 hp, so now 345 should sound like plenty. Unlike the rest of the car, the interior remains true Volvo, with good ergonomics, comfortable seats, and great occupant safety.
