2014 Infiniti Q50 Hybrid Review

    When MotorTrend released their short film "The Deal", I had no idea why they would choose that car for the video. But since then I've realized that the Q50 is actually a really interesting car. It has some considerably powerful engine choices, with the most powerful option a hybrid. It is half-V6 and half 50-kWh electric motor. The electric motor adds 67 hp and 199 pound-feet of torque, so the total output of the hybrid is about 354 hp and a sports-car worthy 454 lb-feet. 0-60 takes 4.9 seconds, which is almost as fast as a supercharged Range Rover, which has 156 more horsepower. The interior is pretty much the exact same thing as the outgoing G35/G37 sedan, except nicer and more comfortable, with more features. For me the best part of the car is the styling inside and out, which looks great, considering this car competes with cars like the Audi A4, which doesn't look nearly as good.
